Giving campaigns were always a joy to create. Each required strategizing with the Executive Director and Development Director, building my communications plan, creating the graphics, then executing the communications across our various traditional and social media channels.
These can be found on Casa Chirilagua's Facebook, Instagram and YouTube channels (Jun 2016–Jun 2020): @casachiri
I created all designs, photos, videos, infographic, e-mail and social media posts here.

PRE-EVENT PHOTO BOOTH
I used this to build awareness and excitement leading up to the campaign during Casa Chirilagua's Grand Opening, which took place a few days before Spring2ACTion began.

CAMPAIGN PROMO
I had a vision but little knowledge of video creation yet. I coordinated and conducted the video shoots on my own. After stumbling my way through iMovie for the first time I pushed this out to Casa's channels!
I enjoy presenting this because it's an example of what a good vision can do with proper planning.
SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS
This was my first-ever one-day fundraising campaign, I learned a lot from it. Namely, that strategically utilizing a handful of posts and videos to engage viewers can go further than posting many, many fun posts. This campaign still succeeded in representing Casa's many facets – strategically posted at key giving times – and welcoming in the voices of volunteer's real experiences.
Spring2ACTion 2020, ACT for Alexandria's 1-day giving campaign
This campaign came together in an incredibly short timeframe because the campaign date was moved up in an effort to support community efforts during COVID in April 2020.
END OF YEAR CAMPAIGN 2017:
The idea behind this mailer package was to send a card that could go on people's mantles, tables, or wherever they put all their Christmas and holiday cards. I contacted a volunteer with calligraphy skills to create the handwritten elements of the greeting card.
2017 had been a momentous year as the organization moved into their own home in the community. We leant into the excitement of that and looked ahead at what the future might bring.
END OF YEAR FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN 2017 – Official Video
Showcasing heartfelt events from the past year in story form. I storyboarded the entire concept and solely conducted all interviews. I filmed, photographed and edited everything in this:
END OF YEAR CAMPAIGN 2017 – Goofy Video of Staff!
Sharing a fun video of our staff on Christmas was a lighthearted way to engage with our online community, contrasting the seriousness of the official video and giving them something to enjoy that wasn't an "Ask":
