Chesapeake Bay Candle was launching a new upscale candle brand and needed an elegant and well-organized catalog to sell their products. I worked under the direction of their Creative Director to build this project out. I was responsible for photographing all of the individual product photos, and one of the candle scenes. The individual photographs took extensive organization and attention to detail to ensure each candle was represented, and all were uniformly captured with the same angles and lighting.
This also required Photoshop work to tastefully "light" candles in their scene photos. Yes – I was Photoshopping flames onto their candles! It was reminiscent of my days learning Photoshop 5 in high school when I mistakenly thought every logo looked "wayyy cooler" with smoke and fire. Oh, how far I'd come since then.
